Larry Bird, one of the two players that bought Nba into the higher point with his rivalry with his best friend, Magic Johnson. Their encounters in the finals which led to tickets all sold out, friends debating for their idols show how much this two are respected. Larry Bird, who is part of the 50-40-90 club twice is one of the greatest shooters ever.He didn't look like a typical Nba player but he was referred as the smartest player ever. He won three consecutive Mvp and has won the title for three times. So, why is he here? he was selected the 6th pick in the Nba 1978 draft. Its definetly low for a player who is top 5 in the Nba history. There are reasons saying that he was selected that low because he was going back to college.So what if, he was selected earlier?

Larry Bird is just great at everything. Leadership, defence and scoring was where his good at. So, no matter what team he went he will definetly be the leader of the team . How many titles will he win? we don't really know but one thing is for sure he will at least achieve Karl Malone or Charles barkley's status. Bird is an all around player. He was definitely going to be winning Mvp's in any team he goes.The only reason that his legacy might go down is that there will be no Lakers vs Celtics rivalry. There will not be basketball boom but for his own perspective, he is great enough to not be affected.
