However, this mentaility has failed him this year and as his natural talent is not as strong as many of the other players, he has been left in no man's land with regards to a play-off spot. Despite reaching
the semi-finals in his debut season last year, Hamilton has struggled to find consistency this year and frequent lapses in performance have greatly reduced his chances of finishing in the top 4. A semi-final place is not mathematically beyond 'The Hammer', however I will be very surprised if his current form allows him to finish the remaining weeks strongly and qualify.
