Why Manchester United MUST Sack Jose Mourinho

2. Look At Arsenal And Chelsea

Gary Neville made a passionate speech about how the Manchester United board must not bin Mourinho to avoid becoming a ‘sacking club’, but this is the same pundit who warned Arsenal fans that getting rid of Arsène Wenger could result in them becoming even worse. However, now that the French dinosaur’s gone, Arsenal are playing stunning football, are currently on a ten-match winning streak, and have more away wins this season than they did for the entirety of the last campaign.

Chelsea also sacked Antonio Conte and now look a far more dangerous unit under the former banker Maurizio Sarri. Granted, they probably won’t win the league, but they’ll comfortably finish in the top four and the Stamford Bridge faithful will continue to be entertained by the Sarriball flair their beloved Blues have quickly adopted.

Meanwhile, as the United board continue to pray for Mourinho to turn things around to avoid backlash from football moralists like Neville, the Red Devils are tenth in the league, look likely to end up in the Europa League and are sullying the club’s image with negative football that is making the Theatre of Dreams a literal home for fans to sleep.

Neville is a United legend and a very entertaining pundit, but his constant negativity about managers getting sacked makes him a deluded boy scout who would have relegated Valencia to the Segunda Division if the owners shared his naive mindset. Football is a results business and the top clubs around the world know that a manager must go if they’re not delivering.
