I've got a theory that the Belgian national team are either mutants or superheroes. I read an interview with some of the Belgian coaches who were being interrogated into what they're feeding their players and their suspicious response was 'we don't know, it's just a coincidence'. This of course means they've found a poisonous serum which transforms your average Carlton Banks into Vincent Kompany and Spiderman is on his way to stop him from destroying the planet. Who knows what is happening in Belgium but they are undoubtedly the competitions dark horses. From the attacking prowess of Christian Benteke, Romelu Lukaku, Kevin Mirallas and the incredible Eden Hazard they are capable of scoring against anyone, and with Kompany, Alderweireld & Vertonghen running the defence with either Courtois or Mignolet behind them they are certainly possible of keeping the world's greatest attackers quiet. Given that they have one of the lesser difficult groups by the time Belgium play a competitive match they could be steamrolling their way to mutant-fuelled-glory. If only their coach was bald and in a wheelchair... Player to watch: Eden Hazard - Chelsea
