World Cup 2018: 7 Players Premier League Clubs Should Buy
3. Aleksandr Golovin (Russia)
Before the World Cup even began, Aleksandr Golovin was being lauded as Russia's best hope of enjoying a good tournament on home soil. The young CSKA Moscow midfielder lived up to the hype in Russia's opening game, pulling all the strings as he assisted two goals for his team and scored a stunning free kick of his own.
The 22-year-old also played a part in the host nation's win over Egypt and had a good game in the round of 16 as Russia battled to a draw with Spain, with Golovin calmly netting his penalty in the shootout. Clearly, he's one of Russia's best young prospects and could bring a lot to plenty of Premier League sides in and around the top six.
Golovin has a contract until 2021 but is being strongly linked with Chelsea, with CSKA allegedly demanding a fee of around £30 million. That could prove to be a shrewd investment as it seems highly likely that the youngster will only get better and better in years to come. Arsenal have also been linked with Golovin and it seems pretty likely that he'll be sealing a move to England in the coming weeks.
