World Cup 2018: 7 Players Premier League Clubs Should Buy
4. Sergej Milinković-Savić (Serbia)
Serbia were a little unlucky to leave the World Cup in the group stages. They played some good football and Sergej Milinković-Savić was one of their more impressive players, with the 6'4" midfielder charging up and down the pitch and trying to do everything for his team in all three of their group games.
In fairness, the 23-year-old probably tried a little too hard and made a few mistakes, but glimpses of his greatness were clear to see, especially in Serbia's opening win against Costa Rica. An exciting playmaker with superb vision, Milinković-Savić was bullied off the ball a little too often in Serbia's other games, but clearly has a huge amount of potential. He plays his club football for Lazio and just enjoyed a super season in which he netted 15 times in all competitions.
A complete midfielder in the making, Milinković-Savić has a very bright future and has been compared with the likes of Yaya Touré and Luka Modric in the past. He's been linked with a possible move to Manchester United for some time now, but Barcelona and Real Madrid are also rumoured to be keen on the Serbian, who could cost up to £100 million.
