Asked once more to deputise at right-back as McClaren named a much-changed team, Bigirimana actually performed pretty well. Willing to get forward when the opportunity arose, and confident on the ball, Bigi provided a chance for Siem de Jong and another for Ayoze Perez. Defensively, while his centre-backs struggled, Bigi made a few strong challenges to prevent York from gaining an even larger lead. Unfortunately, he is unlikely to get much game time going forward.
