10 Awesome Game Of Thrones Characters You Probably Can't Name
7. Daario Naharis
A lover, and a fighter, Daario Naharis is peculiarly principled for a mercenary - he doesn't rape women, or murder innocents. Then again, he only refuses because he finds it boring, as opposed to refusing on moral grounds. He insists on only making love to women who consent, and only killing the men that want to kill him. Not a bad system, really. His backstory is particularly interesting: born of a prostitute, he was sold into slavery aged 12. From then on he became a pit fighter, so successful his master released him before he died. He was quickly on the road again, becoming a sellsword, and eventually joining forces with Daenerys. He's pretty good at his job too, killing the champion of Meereen in single combat, and infiltrating an entire city with just two other men. Still can't name him though. While only a supporting character in Seasons Three and Four, he looks set to play a bigger role this time around, as more of the story shifts to the Daenerys camp, and Sir Barreston is now dead. As it happens the death of Sir Barreston is kind of Daario's fault, since his actions led to him walking in the streets. Fans have been denied more of Daario for too long.
