9. When Did Skye Become Badass?

Among other things, Skye has a brand-new fringe to go with her apparently new-found ability to participate in action scenes and work as a functioning member of Coulson's new SHIELD without having to resort to sitting at a laptop, hacking, which is something to be grateful for. It's actually quite a thrill to see Chloe Bennett in action abseiling down a few stories on some kind of mission, and gives us hope that there'll be much more character growth for Skye this season than there was last. There's reason enough for that, since not only are the characters living in a more dangerous world, but perhaps the effects of the magic alien serum that was used to save her life are starting to become apparent and react with her superhuman biology. And from what we've heard about her dad, she may well need superpowers to be able to deal with that family reunion...
