10 Crazy Characters You Forgot Existed In Stargate

1. Cassandra Fraiser

Cassandra was found as the sole survivor of the planet Hanka in 1997 (guest star Katie Stuart). She had been left behind as a booby trap for the SGC by the Goa'uld Nirrti, who had wiped out the rest of her planet with a bacterial plague. This bomb was discovered and Cassandra was almost lost, but Carter discovered that it was proximity to the Gate that was triggering it - and it was disarmed.

At this point, she was adopted by Dr. Fraiser, with whom she lived until 2003. As a teenager (guest star Colleen Rennisson), it was discovered that she was not out of the woods yet. Nirrti had been experimenting on her people before killing them all and Cassandra was beginning to show signs of this tampering. She was close to dying again, imploring SG-1 to hunt Nirrti.

They found the mad scientist and convinced her to reverse the damage, in exchange for her own life. Cassandra then returned to Earth and remained living with Dr. Fraiser, until the doctor's death on an away mission. At that point, Carter took a more active part in her life, guiding her through the grieving process.

In the future, Cassandra (guest star Pamela Perry) was able to send a time-displaced SG-1 back home to their correct time, warmly greeting Carter as she did. She teased them by advising them that their adventures were only just beginning, before sending them back home.
