10 Funniest Rick And Morty Moments

2. Summer Catches Morty Engaging In Some 'Me' Time - Total Rickall

The essence of Total Rickall is that the Smith household has been invaded by alien parasites that thrive on good memories. To ensure that the family members are who they say who they are, each of them needs to recall a negative memory about one another.

Summer's memory about Morty is a doozy.

After innocently wandering into the kitchen to retrieve forgotten concert tickets, Summer catches Morty doing what teenage boys frequently do. Their exchange of words, short as it is, speaks volumes about their relationship.

Summer is boggled as to why Morty would do 'that' in the kitchen. Morty accuses summer of 'shaming' him. Summer reminds Morty that he's 'not the victim here'.

Morty then horrifies Summer by letting her know 'I was thinking about your friend Grace!' For teenage siblings, that's going nuclear during an argument.

The humour here comes from the fact that this moment is, unlike much of the show, not an unimaginable galaxy-spanning scenario, but one that many viewers could no doubt (very uncomfortably) relate to.

When you need a negative memory, catching your brother pleasuring himself in the kitchen's tough to top.
