10 Sci-Fi TV Shows That Wasted Great Characters
6. Natira (Farscape)
What do you get when you combine space exploration with the Jim Henson company? Plenty of awesome alien creatures, of course.
Farscape was an underrated gem of a show that explored almost every corner of the cosmos. However, while the series had a boatload of cool characters, this sublime and scaly Saltici was a cut above the rest, and thus, it's a real shame that she cut and ran.
Natira was the ruthless criminal leader of a Shadow Depository who became embroiled with the crew of the Moya over a few episodes. While she started as a clear antagonist, the lines became a blurred as she worked alongside the lead, Crichton, to save herself from the devilish Scorpius. However, before he could help her escape on the Moya, she left him for dead and was never seen again.
Bringing her onto the Moya would have let off some real fireworks, as her violence, confidence, and almost aristocratic tendencies would have brought some venomous spice to the crew. Her sudden departure from the show also left a juicy mystery that was never answered. I.e., where on Earth did she go?
