10 Things David Tennant Has Done Since Leaving Doctor Who
4. He's Reunited With Catherine Tate
The Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble are one of the most popular Doctor Who duos of all time (they're Partners in Crime, after all) so when it was revealed that their real life alter egos, David Tennant and Catherine Tate, were to be reunited on stage in one of Shakespeare's most popular plays, it was exciting to say the least. In 2011 they lit up the West End for a war of wits as star-crossed lovers Benedick and Beatrice in their highly anticipated 80s-esque production of Much Ado About Nothing. Their respective performances received critical acclaim and, if their stint together in Doctor Who hadn't already proven it, there was no denying that they truly are a match made in heaven. There were even certain aspects of the Doctor and Donna in there with an added touch of romance that the temp from Chiswick would surely have never allowed on board the TARDIS. It was hugely popular (the tickets practically sold out within one hour) and the lucky fans who got to experience it for themselves - and especially those who didn't - will be pleased to hear that they're just as eager as the rest of us for to tread the boards together once more. Let's hope it happens.
