To hear that the infamous Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee sex tape scandal of 1995 was being turned into a TV series, well, that news came totally out of left-field.

As the titular pair, Pam & Tommy sees Lily James and Sebastian Stan on headlining duties, as this eight-episode Hulu miniseries explores how said tape made its way out into the public, how it became globally circulated, and the impact all of this had on the marriage between Anderson and Lee.

For those unaware, this most intimate X-rated of tapes came to be after a disgruntled employee of Anderson's got together with a porn distributor to release this footage online at a premium cost. Here, that employee, Rand Gauthier, is played by Seth Rogen, while Parks and Recreation's Nick Offerman plays the sleazy porn figure.

By all accounts, Pam & Tommy is set to be a steamy series that will get plenty of people talking, while the first trailer for the show also promises a fun tone and energy to proceedings as James and Stan embrace these most unique of roles.
