15 Times Rick And Morty Was The Best Show On Television

The fourth episode is about the idea of being stuck inside a simulation, in particular one that is full of glitches. Surprisingly, Jerry is one of the funniest things about the episode, somehow going through the entire day not realizing how fake everything around him is. This leads to a hilarious conversation with his boss who just says "yes" followed by a snap over and over, and eventually through this conversation Jerry ends up getting an award for apple related commercials, something that apparently exists.

The episode also uses this simulation idea as an excuse to just throw a bunch of weird stuff at the audience to show that things are off, like a guy eating a bun between two hot dogs or a pop tart living inside a toaster and driving a toaster to work. And then of course there's the humans that are repeated over and over, like the constantly appearing three people saying "Slow down!" "Looking good!" "My man!"

It's a totally bizarre episode that's Rick and Morty at its best, allowing the writers to go all out with whatever they can think of, and hearing "my man!" over and over somehow never stops being funny.
