Peter Crombie appeared in the second season episode of Deep Space Nine, Melora, as Fallit Kot, a former business associate of Quark's - who naturally plans to kill him. Around the same time, Crombie also appeared in five episodes of Seinfeld, playing 'Crazy' Joe Davola.

Crombie had already appeared alongside Avery Brooks in an episode of Spencer For Hire, though his filmography was impressive. He appeared in Born On The Fourth Of July alongside Tom Cruise, and he appeared in The Doors, and later Natural Born Killers and Se7en.

Crombie stepped away from acting in the early 00s and, in 2006, wrote and helped produce a short film named Threshold.

Though divorced at the time of his death, his ex-wife announced that he had passed away on her Instagram account. He was 71 years old.
