6. Glory

GloryAppeared in: Buffy the Vampire Slayer A fallen god, and the only "big bad" on the list (big bads are main villains in the world of Buffy, with there usually being one big bad per season) considering Darla was never really a big bad herself. This was a tough choice - there are a lot of good Buffy villains, including Drusilla, The Gentleman, Doc, and most notably another big bad, The Mayor, but Glory was something so out of left field that it was almost perfect: a fallen god in the form of a self-centred, self-obsessed narcissist caring more about her hair and clothing than anything else, besides regaining her full power, getting back to her home dimension, and destroying the world in the process. Glory's view of our world is bleak yet relatable (there's that word again), as she tells Buffy "I look around at this world you're so eager to be a part of, and all I see is six billion lunatics looking for the fastest ride out. Who's not crazy? Look around - everyone's drinking, smoking, shooting up ... shooting each other, or just plain screwing their brains out 'cause they don't want 'em any more. I'm crazy? Honey, I'm the original one-eyed chicklet in the kingdom of the blind 'cause at least I admit the world makes me nuts."
