8 TV Shows That Are Going To Get Cancelled In 2016
3. Second Chance
Let's just get the pun out of the way from the offset. Fox's Second Chance will not be getting a second chance. The show follows the life of Jimmy Pritchard, a seventy-five year old former Washington Sheriff who is disgraced, forced to retire, murdered and then resurrected in the body of a much younger man (by a couple of billionaire tech geniuses).
The show's premise is so convoluted that it practically deserves cancellation for that reason alone, but it's viewers that talk, not plot lines. Sadly for Second Chance, the viewers aren't saying much. The first two episodes did badly enough that the show received an immediate time slot swap, and as the season's remaining nine episode splayed out, things didn't get much better.
Having undergone bizarre rebranding before airing (the show was originally called Frankenstein, then The Frankenstein Code, then Lookinglass) it's time to say goodbye to the show nobody asked for with the plot nobody cared enough to understand.
