9 Marvel Superheroes Who Desperately Deserve Their Own Netflix Series

3. Trish Walker, AKA Hellcat

Hellcat Patsy Walker
Marvel Comics

Who They Are: For all you comic book purists out there, yes I do mean Patsy Walker. The character was however introduced in Jessica Jones as Trish, so for the purposes of envisioning a Hellcat series as one being a part of the MCU, this one inconsequential change shall remain.

After multiple appearances in The Avengers during the '70s, Patsy Walker went on to become a key member of The Defenders, and we all know how that team will be coming to the MCU.

She's an incredible hand-to-hand combatant and can out-think foes almost as well as Captain America, but also ends up with a pretty nifty set of mystical powers too. Whilst I doubt we'll so those move-sets in the future, Walker's been one of Marvel's foremost female heroes for a long time now.

Why They Deserve A Series: Like Daredevil before it, I absolutely loved Jessica Jones. Unlike that aforementioned series however I didn€™'t really follow every minute detail of Jones€™ pre-release hype, and so found myself more than pleasantly surprised when I saw that Trish Walker €“ the famous Hellcat that made her debut in The Avengers back in 1976 €“ was one of the series€™ most prominent recurring characters. Initially, the show didn€™'t really have any inclination to hint at Walker€™s eventual alter-ego (which made perfect sense for the story being told), but over the course of its 13 episodes we do in fact see her demonstrate some combat prowess €“ something I can only hope will precede an arc to costumed-heroism in Jessica Jones€™ next season.

Rachael Taylor was easily one of the series€™ greatest aspects, and to have her acting talents receive sole focus in a show of her own would be absolutely fantastic. Make it happen, Marvel!
