American Horror Story: 10 Most Horrific Moments

2. A 'Violet' End

American Horror Story Twisty
FX

Season: Murder House

Episode: 10 - "Smoldering Children"

Rating: 4/5 Bloody Faces

Violet Harmon was one of those rare Horror Story characters - someone that was actually good. Away from the typical grungy teenager, and apart from her choice in men, Violet was a harmless little girl caught in the horror of the house. When an exterminator was called in to rid the house of a fly infestation, something was wrong. In the crawl space he was murdered by Tate Langdon...but what was hiding down there?

A turning point of the series, Violet discovering her own body was a real twist in the tale. From then on, you could never trust an episode of the show...EVER. What made Violet's death all the more horrifying was the fact that she was one of the few wholly good residents of the Murder House. Her ghost was left to haunt the new inhabitants, although she remained 'pure' in her methods. The Harmons did receive some form of happy ending in their dream house, but it is little consolation when you are all six feet under!
