3. Sara And Ray Leaving
Much like Henry Allens swift departure from The Flash, Sara Lance and Ray Palmer vanished from Star City almost as quickly as they arrived this year. For a pair of former series regulars, their hastily-explained exits were hardly satisfactory. Obviously, the Canary and the Atom have left to go star in Legends Of Tomorrow but within the narrative of Arrow, their absences are not sold in a convincing way. After being dead, and presumed dead respectively, the two were both brought back and quickly went off of their own with some poor conveyed excuse as for why. This is especially egregious considering the foe Team Arrow is up against. Darhk is more powerful than anyone theyve faced so presumably, they need all hands on deck. Regardless of their personal crises, surely Ray and Sara would step up in this instance. One of the problems that having such an expansive universe created is that flaws in logic like this one are often the cost for its existence. In the long run, its worth it, but these all-too-brief appearances still sting.
