7. ...One Of Which Is The Season Opener...
Last year's series premiere, Deep Breath, was a feature length escapade that introduced us to our brand new Doctor and Steven Moffat has come up with a way to ensure that Series 9 also kicks off with an almighty bang. The Twelfth Doctor's second string of adventures will begin with a momentous two-parter which is a format the show first attempted, to critical acclaim, back in Series 6. The episodes are called The Magician's Apprentice and The Witch's Familiar and not much else is known about them, really, which makes it even more exciting to find out what lies ahead in the eagerly anticipated return of our Time Lord and his coveted companion, Clara Oswald. Here's hoping for another cinema screening! Speaking of two-parters...
