Doctor Who: 8 Times The Doctor Has Killed

1. He Brutally Suffocated Shockeye

The Doctor is the last person in the universe you'd think would be capable of such an act, but unbelievably, he once murdered someone - in true serial killer fashion - by putting a bag over their head and cutting off their air supply.

This occurred during 1985's The Two Doctors, which saw the Second Doctor meet the Sixth. Near the end of the story, the latter Doctor ends up being pursued by a knife-wielding cook named Shockeye, who, naturally, is out for blood. Time Lord blood.

Alone in the wilderness, the Doctor decides his best course of action is to brutally suffocate his attacker, which he does by ambushing him, grabbing him from behind, putting a bag over his head, and pressing a piece of cyanide-soaked wool to his mouth.

To be fair, this really was a kill-or-be-killed situation, since Shockeye wasn't interested in taking any prisoners. But that doesn't alter the disturbing nature of the Doctor's act, which was surprisingly violent for someone who consistently preaches their pacifistic views.

He's probably just got a lot of suppressed rage. Imagine how he'd react if he poured his cereal and discovered that there's no milk...
