Doctor Who: Every NuWho Companion Ranked
7. Bill Potts
Sadly, Bill didn't need to be this low on the list. There isn't really anything majorly wrong with Bill as a companion, she had all of the appreciated traits. The problem is that, at best, she was just fine, and at worst, she was forgettable. I genuinely can't name anything significant about Bill other than the fact that she was gay, and that's only because they couldn't help but bring it up in each episode, even when it felt out of place.
Bill's ending as a companion also felt vague and ill defined as to what actually happened to her. It was almost backseated to the return of John Simm's Master in the Series 10 finale. I enjoyed her return for 'Twice Upon a Time', but it just raised further questions about what happened to her.
