Doctor Who Series 9: 10 Things To Expect From Moffat's Last Series

10. Twelve Episodes In Spring 2017

Here's what we do know. After this year's Christmas Special, Doctor Who will take up residence in Spring 2017 - whether it begins in the old Easter Saturday slot of the RTD days remains to be seen. But after the dark, gloomy Autumn days of Peter Capaldi's first two years, this is going to be rather stark contrast; will the lighting days reflect a lighter series? We also know that we are getting twelve episodes again and the move to 2017 suggests we are not going to get a split series like six or particularly seven, which aired over 2012 and 2013 respectively. Which is a great thing as it means the wait should certainly be worth it.
