Every Star Trek Reference, Easter Eggs & Jokes In The Simpsons

There was never any forgetting Kang and Kodos, the names of the two recurring villainous aliens who typically crop up in the Treehouse of Horror episodes.

Claiming to be from the planet Rigel VII, the aliens have appeared in every single TOH episode so far, alongside a handful of non-TOH episodes; most notably in the aforementioned episode, The Man Who Came To Be Dinner. Despite their distinct hatred for the Simpson family, they did manage to find significant others in the form of Marge's sisters - Selma and Patty, respectively.

Typically found speaking in Rigellian, which sounds awfully like English funnily enough, they're always seen together wearing the exact same breathing helmet.

Of course, Kang and Kodos are named after the Star Trek: The Original Series characters of the same name, although Kodos in Star Trek is a Governor. They're played by Michael Ansara and Arnold Moss, respectively.
