Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Big Questions We're Asking After 'No One'

3. What Did Qyburn's Little Birds Tell Him?

Game of Thrones Qyburn Cersei

Cersei's plans for a trial by combat fall flat this week, when a show of strength from her would-be champion results in King Tommen (obviously persuaded by the High Sparrow, despite him not appearing this week) abolishing trials by combat.

That means Cersei has been backed into a corner, which means she is at her most dangerous. And she has a potentially huge ace up her sleeve. Maester Frankenstein himself, Qyburn, confirms that he has investigated an "old rumour" she told him about, and it turned out to be "much more" than just rumours.

Although nothing more than that is said, there is one answer that seems like it's staring us in the face. Jaime this week, when talking about what Cersei would do for her kids, says she'd "burn cities to ash." A few episodes ago, we saw in Bran's vision the stores of wildfire under King's Landing, unused by the Mad King, but apparently unleashed in the future.

Is Cersei going to burn King's Landing?
