Krypton Season 1: Ranking Every Major Character From Worst To Best
8. Kem
Kem, a bartender in Kandor's rankless district, a skilled engineer, and Seg-El's best friend, is decidedly the comic relief character in Krypton. Thankfully, he is a very funny, charming, and entertaining comic relief character who helped make the show exceptionally fun to watch.
Whether he's helping Seg and company in their endeavors, nonchalantly dealing with the sketchy patrons of his bar, or just dealing with the bizarre happenings of the series, Kem never fails to get a laugh and provide a breather from all the drama.
Kem does get to have a few serious moments as well, most notably when he has to become a parent figure of sorts to Ona after her mother falls victim to Brainiac. This works incredibly well, as actor Rasmus Hardiker perfectly portrays a normally laid-back individual suddenly being forced to rise to the occasion when faced with a tough situation.
Kem represents the kind of person who is very easy-going, but can always be relied on when push comes to shove.
