3. It's As Edge-Of-Seat As Ever

Speaking of commending the writers, the tension throughout the episode is magnificent. From viewers learning that Jack is in danger, to the revelation that he's in cahoots with Roman Mareks, to James' kidnapping (and let's not forget that jaw-dropping parachute sequence), Improvise had all the right tools (pun intended) for a great season premiere.

The hit CBS reboot is perfect for Friday night entertainment. The plot is straightforward and very rarely does the mission continue into the following episode, which allows the writers to go all out on the action and tension during the final act of each instalment. The final act in Improvise is particularly enthralling, as our protagonist does some improvising of his own, tailing Mareks' vehicle in the hopes of saving Jack. The series once again delivered in every way imaginable, and left us wanting more. Speaking of which...
