Parks & Recreation: Every Main Character Ranked From Worst To Best
5. April Ludgate
Much like Tom, April evolved and grew so much throughout the seven seasons of the show. At first she was an unpaid intern in the Parks and Recreation Department, before her strange lack of enthusiasm and the alternative outlook she offered allowed her to climb the governmental ladder and eventually lead a team of her own.
She stayed as wonderfully weird as ever through the entire series however, advising Leslie to stand up and meow instead of making her prepared speech, and dressing as a ghoul after she went into labour among many, many other quirky things.
As she grew she developed close friendships and bonds with the likes of Leslie, Donna, and Ann (even if she would hate to admit it), and eventually made the scary yet mature decision to leave the government and do something with her life that truly made her happy.
While Ann was never a particularly good fit for Andy, April was the absolutely perfect fit. The two completed each other and brought out the best of each other, and of all the relationships throughout the entire show, this was one of the standout dynamics. An utter joy from start to finish.
