Riverdale: 10 Craziest Moments (So Far)

The Season Three Riverdale writer's room seemed to throw all caution to the wind. Juggling the bizarre 'The Farm' storyline with the equally strange 'Griffins and Gargoyles' storyline simply wasn't enough. Riverdale decided to add a subplot in which Cheryl's mother, Penelope Blossom (Nathalie Boltt) owned a dominatrix brothel.

It seemed as if everyone in Riverdale knew about the brothel - law enforcement included - but apparently, nobody cared. Sure - there were more pressing concerns in Riverdale, like its never-ending stream of serial killers, but surely someone should show some concern?

When all of the actors look like adults, it's easy to forget that this is a show about high-school kids - especially as they're very rarely in school. Cheryl visited the brothel to see her mother on several occasions … but this is normal? Cheryl did torture her own mother by drowning her in maple syrup so maybe this is tame in comparison.

Who's visiting this brothel? We're led to believe that Riverdale is a small town where everybody knows everybody. If none of our regular characters are customers, it's a wonder the brothel can keep business going - although this isn't a show that often uses logic.
