Star Wars: 10 Reasons Why Disney+'s Obi-Wan Kenobi Is Awesome

2. The Final Two Episodes Are BRILLIANT

The first four episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi are, for the most part, very good, but at the same time, there are definite issues. The pacing is hit-or-miss, the logic isn't always there, and the editing during some of the action sequences is pretty messy.

Still, this completely pays off, for the last two episodes of the show are genuinely superb. Those two episodes have it all.

Killer action, soaring emotional highs, that Clone Wars flashback, Reva's shocking backstory, surprise cameos, epic lightsabre duels, a fantastic ending that tied everything up beautifully - seriously, what more could you ask for? Whatever issues some might've had with the earlier episodes, how the series ended made it all worth it.

The final third of this miniseries was not only cracking television, but also a stirring reminder of just how wonderful Star Wars really is at its best. It's because of material like this that people keep coming back to Star Wars time and time again, no matter how inconsistent this franchise often is.

But no season two, please. The series has told a satisfying and complete story, so it doesn't need a direct follow-up.
