Vikings: 6 Best Moments From The Series So Far

3. Floki Standing By Ragnar

While series one focused on Rollo's impending betrayal of Ragnar, season two followed a similar vein as one of the show's most likable characters, Floki, started to develop a darker side to his personality. Floki has always been the class-clown of Vikings, with his mischievous grin, pranks and unpredictable behaviour quickly making him a hit with fans. Which is why it was troubling to see him grapple with feelings of resentment for Ragnar, with the two former best friends soon as loggerheads with each other. King Horik gets wind of Floki's potential new dislike for Ragnar and attempts to get him to betray his pal, and for a while, it looks like the ship-builder might go through with it. However, (and to our untold relief), like Rollo, he simply can't bring himself to stab Ragnar in the back, and the pair team up to turn the tables on Horik in romping fashion.
"Floki, you have betrayed the gods." "No, King Horik. I only betrayed you."
