10 Lost Gimmicks WWE Should Bring Back

1. Legend Killer

Some folks on socials say Randy Orton should return to his old 'Legend Killer' character when he's ready to return. That doesn't make any sense. Randy is a legend himself, so he'd have nothing to gain by mowing down icons of the biz in 2023/2024. If anything, someone else needs to take the gig and target him.

Going after heroes like Mick Foley, The Undertaker and others worked wonders for Orton approx 20 years ago. It was a simple way to garner heat from audiences, and heaped sympathy on the golden oldies Randy was gunning for by default. Surely that formula would work well again.

Besides, WWE has a new breed of legends to mark.

The Miz, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch, Trish Stratus (assuming she comes back), John Cena, Orton himself - the list goes on and on. Yep, have a vicious heel start with a few part-timers, then book them opposite Randy/Trish for the blow off.
