When critiquing the PWI 500, it's important to remember that the list runs from the previous September, rather than the beginning of the calendar year. Even with this in mind, it's astonishing to see Chris Jericho rank in the top 100. As influential a figure he has been over the course of his career, Y2J is now very much a part-timer, more famous for his podcast than any current in-ring work. Having made just two PPV appearances over the course of the past 12 months, Jericho surely doesn't qualify as one of the biggest 100 wrestlers in the world right now - especially given the nature of his matches. He lost a hastily-booked match with Randy Orton at Night Of Champions 2014 - an excuse to get him out of a very underwhelming feud with Bray Wyatt - before submitting rising star Neville on the 'Beast In The East' WWE Network exclusive.
