10 Times WWE Stopped Wrestlers Going Too Far

Never being one to keep her thoughts and feelings to herself on just about any subject, Ronda Rousey was all too happy to go into some compelling detail about her recent Extreme Rules showdown with Liv Morgan over the SmackDown Women's Championship on her YouTube gaming stream.

On top of explaining her reasons for repeatedly smashing a bat into her rival's ass during the divisive brawl, The Baddest Woman on the Planet would also note her original pitch for the brutal finish of their collision was shot down by WWE management.

Instead of the sequence that saw Liv pass out in a unique submission that involved Ronda crushing Morgan's head between her thigh and a broken table, Rousey wanted to be powerbombed onto some thumbtacks before locking in a submission on the now-former champ.

Morgan would've then passed out face down in the tacks, with her hand protecting her mug.

Gone are the days of utilising this excruciating weapon in WWE, though, as revealed when Rousey saw her request denied due to "legally" the company now not being able to "purposely injure people and cut their skin and stuff."

That still didn't stop the new champ from pitching some small pin or screw alternatives, mind. But all of the sharp suggestions were shot down in quick succession.
