10 Worst WWE Feuds Of 2020

9. Jeff Hardy Vs Sheamus

Folk were rightfully up in arms about Jeff Hardy's career-long battles with drugs and alcohol being brought back to the front of a storyline, especially considering the one-last-chance nature of his return and a recent celebration of a year's sobriety.

This was reason to get mad with WWE, as if enough weren't provided on the reg. For all 'The Charismatic Enigma' may have green-lit every word or action tied to an incredibly difficult challenge he faces daily, he really shouldn't have been asked to in the first place.

Speaking strictly in professional wrestling terms - for that is what this still pretends to be, it did little for his opponent either. Such little lands with any heft in WWE anymore that Sheamus was hardly positioned as the cruellest heel on the roster as the result. In terms of lasting impact, this wasn't Triple H masterminding Stone Cold Steve Austin's hit-and-run or Randy Orton assaulting the returning Edge. This wasn't even The Big Boss Man feeding Al Snow his own dog, even though one of the principal characters ended up with something gross in their mouth.

It's 'The Great White' got a pint of somebody else's piss to the face in a time where you can't hug your mum. Jeff's throw was the only thing in the angle that didn't miss.
