10 WWE Superstars And The Angles That Made Them Famous

This very well may be the most storied rivalry in all of modern professional wrestling. No two men find their stories as closed tied together as the stories of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, two kids who grew up following a dream that brought them to each other and to this day refuses to separate them.

Whether it was Ring of Honor, PWG, NXT or even the main roster of WWE, the former Kevin Steen and possibly maybe the former El Generico (we can't be sure) have gone toe to toe with an intensity that not many can match. Their careers mirror each other, and from the moment Steen turned on Generico after RoH's Final Battle in 2009 it has been a violent descent into hate for both men.

This initial RoH feud would rumble on for an entire year, engulfing Steve Corino and Colt Cabana in the process, before Generico vanquished Steen in an unsanctioned Fight Without Honor with his mask on the line. Steen's ROH career was also on the line, meaning the French Canadian zoo enthusiast had to leave the company.

Possibly the greatest thing about the Kevin Owens/Sami Zayn saga is that no matter how often they do battle, it truly never gets old. It is an example of two people who are fantastically good at their job finding true chemistry with each other, and knowing exactly how to keep that chemistry alive. Long may that continue.
