20 WWE Superstars That Hacked Off Their Hair

There's perhaps no bigger haircut in the history of WWE than The Undertaker's change in hairstyle that took place off-camera sometime between 2012 and 2013.

In his 2012 Raw return to begin the build for his WrestleMania XXVIII match against Triple H, The Undertaker had long hair...or so it seemed.

It was actually a wig that he wore under his hat. In reality, The Undertaker had cut all his hair off at some point during the previous 10 months and WWE had him wear this fake hair in the ring before airing vignettes depicting Taker cutting the hair off himself. The vignette came off somewhat strange, but WWE wanted to work in the reveal of Taker's new look as another reason to order the pay-per-view.

The notion wasn't completely unprecedented as Undertaker had chopped his hair off before, in late 2001 to be exact. In the middle of his run as the American Bad Ass character, Undertaker turned heel and cut off his long red locks for the first time since joining WWE in 1990. It was not quite as drastic as the 2012 reveal would be, but it was a difference maker nonetheless.

When Undertaker returned at WrestleMania XXVIII in Miami, fans saw the Deadman like never before. Wearing a sleeveless, hooded coat, Undertaker slowly stalked his way to the ring and then unveiled his new look - a buzzed mohawk!
