9 Card Predictions For IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary 2021

5. IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Titles: Jordynne Grace & Rachael Ellering (c) Vs. The IIconics

W. Morrissey SANADA
IMPACT Wrestling/WWE

IMPACT Wrestling's knockouts tag team division has suffered hugely since the reinstating of the titles. A division that once boasted a good number of teams now has only a few; Fire N Flava, Susan and Kimber Lee, and current champions Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering are all that remain.

This needs to change at Slammiversary with the addition of the IIconics.

Like SANADA, Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay were teased in that Slammiversary trailer, albeit only via stock footage of the Australian flag. Of all the current major promotions, they'd undoubtedly be best suited in IMPACT, seeing as they're the only other major company aside from WWE that boasts a women's doubles division. Unless they opt to go to somewhere like SHIMMER or SHINE Wrestling, IMPACT is the right option for them.

Having their first match post-WWE be a victory of the Knockouts Tag Team Championships would be the ultimate slap in WWE's face. It's nowhere near as hard to book the former Billie Kay and Peyton Royce as Vince McMahon and co. made it seem.

Just let them be their charismatic, genuinely hilarious selves, and you're set. They can be the faces of a division that desperately needs that top-tier act at the top.
