Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns have a long-running history with one another that has headlined many WrestleManias. Some would argue too many, because the two have never really garnered much excitement for any of these matches in their seemingly never-ending rivalry.

The crowd at WrestleMania 34 were already angered by a night that involved the letdown between Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles, Braun Strowman picking a kid called Nicholas out of the crowd to win the tag team titles from Sheamus and Cesaro, The Undertaker's rubbish impromptu match with John Cena, and Charlotte Flair ending Asuka's undefeated streak. Tensions were mounting, and people were ready to blow by the time the main event rolled around.

Reigns and Lesnar were unable to lift the spirits of the crowd, as the two giants played out a plodding match that was greeted by audible chants of "boring! Boring!" from the Superdome crowd in New Orleans. WrestleMania is rarely greeted by this much frustration, but Lesnar and Reigns will both want to forget this dire evening that capped one of the most deflating WrestleManias of the 21st century.
