WWE: 6 Current Superstars Who Are (Almost) Hall Of Famers
3. Mark Henry
The man once known as "Sexual Chocolate" has been a WWE employee since 1996. If you were talking about his career prior to 2011, would he really be Hall of Fame worthy? That's a question that's fair to ask that could have the answer of no. However, his work in the last three years has been so great that he's definitely somebody that will be in the WWE Hall of Fame. His run in 2011 was fantastic. He went from midcarder who always had potential that never lived up to it, to a guy that dominated big name stars like Sheamus and Randy Orton, who he beat clean for the World Heavyweight Title. He was booked perfectly. Fans bought him as a top guy because if you look at him he looked like a top guy. It was simply a case of the light bulb coming on for Henry that year. Henry has talked recently about how he has another two years left on his WWE deal. Whether he lasts two more years health wise we don't know, but here's to hoping it happens because there's still something left in the tank for Henry. If you don't believe him, ask him! He'll tell you. Remember that promo last year where he faked his retirement and turned on John Cena? It was fantastic. He's the perfect example of somebody that wasn't a Hall of Famer for the majority of his career, but he developed into one after he figured things out and the company believed in him to carry the ball.
