WWE: 7 Wrestlers The Rock Should Face At WrestleMania 31

3. Triple H

--> I get it, wrestling fan. You probably don't like Triple H and don't clamor to see him in more matches, but when you think about The Rock's career it's fair to say that after Steve Austin, the biggest rival was Triple H. Think about it. Not only are they around the same age, but they were moving up the ranks at the same time. Both guys had IC Title reigns before becoming top guys and their SummerSlam 1998 ladder match for the IC Title is still one of the best matches of either man's career. They were at their peak at the same time too. When Steve Austin was out for most of 2000, it was Rock and Triple H that stepped up. Their most memorable matches were at Backlash, Judgment Day (a really well done Ironman match) and SummerSlam that year with Rock serving as the top face and Hunter the top heel. They were the backbone of the company in a year that I think was the best in WWE history. If Rock never left to have a movie career, who knows how many major matches these two would have had together. We could be talking about dozens of Rock/Triple H matches as all time greats because unlike all those Cena/Orton matches, these ones were almost always entertaining. A WrestleMania match against Triple H as Rock's potential last match would see them come full circle in a sense. They only wrestled each other at WrestleMania once (WM16) and that wasn't a singles match. If they did it at WrestleMania 31 it would be a first while also rekindling one of the Attitude Era's best rivalries.
