Then: Gee, wonder if Heath Slater's countless kids missed him when he went off to Saudi and failed to win the Greatest Royal Rumble? Hell, by the time Heath had worked his 7-8 minutes in the thing, Mrs. Slater had probs given birth another 6 times. He got kids to feed, and all that. Millions of them. Well, not millions.

Slater's preposterous 'knackered father who means well' character got him over. He even brought Rhyno (cheese on crackers 4 life) along to the party for a tag-team run that was referenced earlier during the 'Man Beast's' entry. It's worth bringing up again, because those guys really were a riot together.

Sadly, Heath didn't get to eliminate anybody from the 50-man scrap before he was rudely sent back home to his children by Braun Strowman.

Now: Slater was one of the many workers cut loose due to erm...budget concerns in April 2020. He did return that July for a one off showing against his ex-3MB partner Drew McIntyre, but that didn't lead to a full-on comeback. As straight up Heath (surnames, de damned - Vince McMahon would've liked that one), he debuted in TNA once his non-compete clause with WWE expired.

A 3 year run followed, then Slater did some work on the independents too. For reference, he's still going steady outside the major companies, and the guy's only 42 years old. Does that leave some wriggle room for a WWE return? Never say never.

Hell, Heath surely has enough kids to fill a Greatest Royal Rumble sequel on his own.
