3. The Inevitable Cliffhanger Ending - Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension

The Moment: It's already known that, short of a colossal box office failure, the fifth core Paranormal Activity movie won't be the last. The plot follows yet another family as they move into a nice new home and find themselves terrorised by a demon, as well, of course, as Katie (Katie Featherston). Boy, could the movie end any other way than most if not all of that family being killed off, and a final jump scare in which Katie rushes into frame? And then there's a final title card about the police discovering the bodies the next morning and Katie being nowhere to be found? Who wouldda thunk it? Why It's Going To Suck: Because the series has been spinning its wheels for ages, and considering that there are at least two or three more PA movies apparently on the way, to expect the mythology to move forward much in PA5 is incredibly naive. It's just going to repeat the same garbage from the previous films until audiences give up and stop paying, which will hopefully be the case with this movie. ...And The Rest Of The Movie?: Expectations are insanely low after the terrible fourth film and the rather troubled production history the fifth film has had.
