When you take a look through each of the weight divisions, it is hard to find anyone who has dominated at a particular level than Roman Gonzalez.

The Nicaraguan has benefited from having to face limited opposition at several stages of his career in the lower divisions, but a professional record of 38 wins in 44 matches cannot be criticised and it is one of the reasons why Gonzalez is seen by some as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

Since 2011, he has won 14 of his 15 fights inside the scheduled distance and the plan will be to continue that ratio as he moves closer to the 50-fight mark.

It remains to be seen whether Gonzalez will remain content with being a three-weight world champion or whether he will decide to make the step up to super-flyweight - a division that could offer him bigger-money fights - but either way, he will be an overwhelming favourite in any bout he agrees to and he has every chance of ending his career considered as one of the all-time greats.
