10 Best Golf Courses In The World
4. Pebble Beach

There's very little not to like about Pebble Beach. Whether it is the location in California in the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean or the varying hole layouts, every professional golfer will hope to play on this links course at some point during their career.
The three holes that stand out at Pebble Beach are the seventh, eighth and 18th. The seventh is one of the shortest par threes in the world, with the tee shot taken at the top of the hill just 109 yards away from the lower-tiered green.
The eighth involves the second shot being played onto an elevated part of the course, meaning that the green cannot be seen when taking the shot. The final hole takes place along the coastline, with the tee shot needing to be placed between the sea and a selection of trees, while the green is protected by bunkers.
The course holds a PGA event each year, and has previously hosted the US Open with Graeme McDowell winning the last staging of the tournament in 2010.
