It seems harsh to leave out a similarly extravagant effort against Aston Villa during his Old Trafford days, but this was on another level. Mesut Ozil's corner eventually found its way to the Portuguese superstar, but he was running away from goal and there appeared to be nothing on for him. From absolutely nowhere, however, Ronaldo produced a remarkable back-heel from about 10 yards out that managed to find its way through the bodies in the penalty area and into the bottom corner. It was a moment of pure magic, and one that many of his teammates could scarcely believe they had witnessed. Ronaldo still has plenty of years in him, but he will do well to score a better goal than this beauty.
