Winner of the Best Young Player award at the 2014 World Cup, Paul Pogba has since gone on to become one of the most expensive players in the world, moving to Manchester United in 2016 for over €100 million.

Pogba has his critics, both at club and national level, but it's clear for all to see that he's got bags of talent. If he can channel his abilities and focus on his football, he's easily one of the best midfielders around and will surely have a key part to play if France want to go all the way this summer. The 25-year-old is coming off the back of a good season with United in which he scored 6 league goals and made 10 more for his teammates, and should be feeling confident heading into the World Cup.

France have got an exceptionally talented group of players, but Pogba stands out as one of the nation's most gifted individuals, capable of playing in a box-to-box role or as a pure playmaker and often compared to French legends like Zidane, Vieira, and Platini. This summer, he could truly justify those comparisons by leading Les Bleus to their second World Cup win.
