10 Best Players Of World Cup 2018's Group Stage

3. Romelu Lukaku

There was a lot of pressure on Belgium's Romelu Lukaku heading into this tournament, with this World Cup representing a real opportunity for the nation's so-called "Golden Generation" to finally live up to the hype and perhaps even win the entire tournament. So far, Lukaku has lived up to all expectations.

The Manchester United man has only played two of his country's three group games but put in a pair of perfect performances, scoring four goals in total and helping his side earn six valuable points and qualify from Group G with a game to spare. He was rested for the final group match against England but will have a big say in Belgium's knockout round games.

Lukaku has been the perfect leading man for Belgium's fearsome attack, bullying defenders off the ball and getting in brilliant positions time and time again. All four of his goals were really well-taken and he's well in the running for the coveted Golden Boot award.
